The two colleagues come from Azerbaijan and stay for five days. Mr. Bakhtiyar is pleased: "We are actually used to visiting every glasstec. We are happy that it is starting again after the long break. We have been visitors since 2006 and therefore feel like coming home. We also enjoy the city and go out in Düsseldorf in the evening." Glass House started in 2000 as an importer and since 2010 the company has been producing multilayer laminated glass. Mr. Bakhtiyar adds: "We operate locally and primarily serve companies from Azerbaijan and neighboring countries. We get the latest technology and the best international know-how here. We are looking forward to meet our business partners in person at glasstec."

The brothers are primarily at the decarbXpo trade show, which takes place in parallel, and also visit glasstec. Philip Reisenberg recounts his experience: "We had a few appointments with special equipment manufacturers. That was very successful. The fact that we can benefit from two trade fairs is practical." PMR Tech is a young technology start-up. Mr. Reisenberg explains the business idea: "We are about to enter the market with hydrogen-oxygen gas generators. With the generators, we can replace fuel gases in flame cutting, soldering and glass processing with green hydrogen."

The visitors come from Belgium and are personally at glasstec for the first time. The Belgian company manufactures refractory monolithic products for the glass industry. Mariana Munoz is positive about glasstec: "It is very pleasant and productive, the organization of the fair is good. The international mix of exhibitors and visitors is important to us." Tobias Dyck adds: "CO2 reduction and the high energy costs are the top topics at the moment. I estimate our industry to be crisis-proof and glasstec is a good proof for that."

Ben Wallace starts the conversation: "We are here for three days. The fair is very big and we need the time for appointments and inspiration. We want to represent the glass industry from the UK and are happy to access the international market through glasstec." David Borland adds to his colleague: "I really like the conferences this year. The main advantage is the exhibition of many machines. To see their use is very interesting and rare."

Tobias Landgraf arrived recently and is already impressed: "glasstec is very big and impressive. It is good that I will still be here tomorrow. I will need the time. I am a developer and want to be inspired a s much as possible. Much of the innovation takes place at the process level, which is why I appreciate the concrete insights here." Gerresheimer Regensburg GmbH produces primary packaging for cosmetics and medications. The engineer elaborates: "People know our products from the vials for the Corona vaccine, for example." When asked about the prospects for the industry, he sees the gas crisis as a major risk factor.

The two business partners are on site for the entire duration of the trade fair. They know the fair for many years. They have come in particular to find out about innovations, both consider exhibiting next time. They have only a short time because there are many business appointments and the international visitors want to use the time optimally to expand their knowledge and their network.
